AI assistants (MCP)

Connect with OAuth

One click from the Claude apps — no token to copy or store.

This is a sign-in to Cettara, not single sign-on. Your company's identity provider is not involved.

Connecting

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Enter https://cettara.com/api/mcp as the server URL.
  3. Claude sends you to Cettara. Sign in if you are not already.
  4. On the consent page, choose what it may do and which projects it may reach, then press Allow.

Claude now appears under Profile → API tokens as a connected app, with when it was last used.

What you are approving

The consent page shows the app's name, the address it will return to, your organization, and each permission with a plain description. Writing permissions are unticked unless the app asked for them.

You are never granting more than you have yourself: if you cannot see a project, neither can the assistant.

Disconnecting

Profile → API tokens → Disconnect, at any time. The assistant stops working immediately. Owners and admins can disconnect anybody's from Organization → Settings → Security.

Under the hood

Cettara is the authorization server: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, dynamic client registration, access tokens that last an hour, and refresh tokens that change every time they are used and expire after 90 days. A connection stops working the moment the member leaves the organization or the plan is no longer Business.
